And no! I am not going to talk about some geeky command prompt method, this method is as easy as plug and play. Microsoft has recently released a utility to do the job.
Microsoft released a small utility to create Windows 7 bootable USB/DVD called “Windows 7 USB/DVD Download Tool”
We have cover a small How To on how to use it.
- First Download and Install Windows 7 USB/DVD Download Tool.
- Now when you launch it, it will ask for Widows 7 ISO file, here select the path where you have stored Windows 7 ISO file
- In step 2 select USB to create a boot able USB flash drive or DVD to create a bootable DVD disk, then click Next.
- If you want to create a boot able USB flash drive, select your USB device in the dropdown list and click Begin Copying or if you want to create a boot able DVD, click Begin burning.
